How to engage with Together With Veterans Taos:
Attend
Together With Veterans Taos holds Community Meetings throughout the year in different locations in Taos County. Meetings are open to veterans, friends, families, and anyone working with veterans or aiming to reduce suicide in our communites. These meetings are an opportunity for TWV Taos to provide updates on our 6 Strategies and Action Plans and offer work sessions to ensure the voices of veterans and friends are heard. For more information or to receive notification about upcoming meetings, please contact us at: twvtaos@gmail.com.
Participate
Arts workshops, outdoor experiences, and holistic healing opportunities are part of TWV’s plan to promote connectedness and nontraditional paths to support behavioral health. In 2023, TWV Taos offered four arts workshops for veterans in partnership with Paseo Project: Metal, Wood, Stone, Fiber. We also sponsored free lift tickets during the Military Ski Week hosted by Not Forgotten Outreach and Taos Ski Valley, and will do so again January 16 – 21, 2024. If you’d like to know more about programs TWV Taos is sponsoring, please contact us at twvtaos@gmail.com.
