Dear New Mexico Veterans and Family Members,

At the National Veterans Wellness & Healing Center, we understand that the challenges of service don’t always end when the uniform comes off. Many veterans—and their loved ones—carry invisible burdens that can make everyday life more difficult. You are not alone, and support is within reach.

We invite you and your immediate family members to participate in our Continued Care Program, created to provide ongoing healing, resilience-building, and self-care resources for those who may be struggling or simply needing space to reset and reconnect.

Our Continued Care Program offers (see flyer):

  • Supportive, confidential wellness services in select areas: Albuquerque, Taos, Angel Fire, Red River, and some services offered virtually
  • Opportunities to reduce stress and improve overall well-being
  • Tools for emotional balance, grounding, and resilience

We recognize that not everyone is able to attend a 7-day retreat, yet may still benefit greatly from self-care services. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or in need of focused support, we encourage you to take advantage of this program. Your service matters. Your healing matters. And you deserve the support to thrive.

We are grateful to offer this program once again thanks to the generosity of the Department of Veterans Services, in honor of the Governor’s and Mayor’s Challenge to prevent suicide among service members, veterans, and their families. Funding is available through June 30, 2026, or until resources are fully utilized.

To learn more or to sign up, please email secretary@vethealingcenter.org or contact us at 505-501-8337. We are here to walk beside you every step of the way.

Thank you for your service, your strength, and the sacrifices you and your family have made.

 Warm regards,
Janice Podell, Board Secretary & The NVWHC Continued Care Program Team
