AFSP’s annual Advocacy Action Days bring advocates together in the state capital to advocate for policy changes that will help prevent suicide. In partnership with the New Mexico State Suicide Prevention Coalition, AFSP will be bringing together community partners, legislators, and advocates to bring this issue to the forefront.

9:00 AM Advocate Check-In
9:30 AM – 1:00 PM Advocates Meet Legislators (depending on availability)
10:30 AM Press Conference
11:00 AM Lunch for all Registered Advocates (Pizza) 

These personal connections made during Advocacy Action Days help to educate lawmakers about suicide, inspire them to act, and move state issues and bills forward each year.
