Established in 2007, the Women’s Veterans of New Mexico is a nonprofit 501c3 organization which serves as an educational and supportive resource for women living in New Mexico, or neighboring states, who are U.S. armed services veterans separated under honorable or general terms. This includes woman warriors who are currently serving in the Active component, the New Mexico National Guard, or in the Reserves.
We are a diverse group of New Mexico women warriors from a every branch of the US Armed Forces. We exist to support and empower our fellow women veterans through a number of programs.
We are a collaborative forum for such women to learn about and discuss common challenges related to veteran benefits under federal and state law, and challenges related to returning to civilian life after serving in the military.
